Welcome to the Bristol Oyster Bar! We are happily nestled in the heart of downtown Bristol, Rhode Island in an historic building that has served as a Customs House, Post Office, and the YMCA. The 1857 brick building provides us with massive windows, tall ceilings, and classic New England charm. Our cozy inside dining room features an open kitchen and when the weather permits, we’ve got a lovely patio to dine al fresco. In 2015, Peter Sebring opened the restaurant, from a background primarily in fishing and oyster farming. He always emphasized the importance of quality, seeking the freshest ingredients, and supporting local farmers and fisherman. Jordan Sawyer, a longtime employee of the business, became owner in April of 2019 and is determined to keep the sea-to-table ideals, inviting atmosphere, and standard of quality that the Bristol Oyster Bar was built upon, while simultaneously bringing a young, fresh perspective, and years of restaurant experience.Welcome to the Bristol Oyster Bar!
